Our 3MW platform was developed off of existing technology, and with an overall availability of more than 97% and over 2000 units installed worldwide (with almost 500 in North America), it’s a proven, reliable solution. But by partnering with us, you get more than just a piece of equipment.

After-market digital upgrades, such as Wind PowerUp, can improve the power output of the turbines throughout their life, without affecting turbine life itself. Investing in GE technology today means continued investment in your machines and some of the industry's most advanced technology for the next 20 years. We have 10,000 turbines under contract to provide PowerUp software upgrades. Additionally, we offer complete training services for wind turbines technicians, from converters to SCADA and control systems.
Constant improvements mean the need for continued monitoring and insights. Leveraging the vast expertise developed by Bently-Nevada, GE’s drive train monitoring system provides continuous insight into the health of the drive train, and allows for early detection of issues, enhancing proactive maintenance and reducing repair costs. GE monitors more than 19,000 turbines globally from its two remote operations center located in Germany and Schenectady, NY.
