Jérôme leads GE Renewable Energy, reporting to CEO Jeff Immelt. GE Renewable Energy, which has the broadest renewable energy portfolio in the industry, includes on-shore wind, off-shore wind, hydro and concentrated solar power. Jérôme is part of the Corporate Executive Council (CEC), which includes the top 45 officers in GE who work on significant decisions about the strategy and future of the company.
Jérôme Pécresse was appointed President of Alstom Renewable Power Sector and Executive Vice-President of Alstom, in June 2011. He created Alstom’s Renewable Power business which had close to 10,000 employees and sales of around €2 billion (2013/14).
He joined Alstom from Imerys, where he held several positions during his 12 years there, starting with Vice-President Strategy and Development in 1998, then Director Finance and Strategy (2003-2006) , Director of the Ceramics, Refractories, Abrasives and Filtration Division (2006-2008), before being appointed Chief Operating Officer of Imerys in 2008.
Prior to this, he was with Crédit Suisse First Boston from 1992, firstly as associate, then Vice-President, and finally Director responsible for mergers and acquisitions for France.
Born in 1967, Jérôme Pécresse is a former student of the Ecole Polytechnique and an engineer from Ponts & Chaussées.
President & CEO, Onshore Wind, GE Renewable Energy
Anne M. McEntee leads the onshore wind business for GE Renewable Energy and is based in Schenectady, New York.
Anne is a 17-year GE veteran who has worked and advanced through a series of increasingly responsible assignments in quality, manufacturing/operations and sourcing within GE’s energy divisions.
Prior to her current role, Anne was president & CEO of GE’s flow & process technologies business, a division of GE Oil & Gas. In this role, Anne led the integration of Dresser, Inc. and the growth of the flow and process technologies division, which serves customers in the power generation, oil & gas and industrial segments. Previous to this role, Anne was general manager of Power Services, where she led the division’s global growth and expansion into India, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. She has also held the role of general manager for GE’s quality organization where she was responsible for managing and deploying the energy division’s quality strategy.
Anne was promoted to a company officer of GE in March 2011.
Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, a master’s degree in mathematics, and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, each from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
John B. Lavelle
CEO, Offshore Wind, GE Renewable Energy
John Lavelle is the CEO of GE Renewable Energy’s Offshore Wind business, where he leads the global business strategy with the mission to become one of the top three players in the offshore wind industry globally.
John’s strong product expertise, global experience and understanding of customers' priorities make him a natural fit with the Renewable Energy team. He has proven commercial and operational experience in GE, and a deep passion for GE's customers. He has broad experience as a 33-year GE veteran, with various leadership roles across the GE Energy business, including posts in China, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
John joined GE in 1983, holding a variety of sales and service engineering positions before being appointed Country Manager of Taiwan in 1992. He was then appointed Manager of Greater China in June 1993, where he greatly expanded GE’s presence in China. In May 1995, he became Director for South Asia Pacific based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and in 1998 he moved to Singapore and assumed the position of Region Executive for South Asia.
In 2000, John relocated to the United States as General Manager of Global Marketing & Commercial Operations for GE Energy Services in Atlanta, Georgia, responsible for the commercial activity, product management, and strategic growth initiatives for this $7B business.
From 2008 to 2012, he was the VP, Global Projects Operation for GE Energy, where he managed a $75B project portfolio at customer sites across the world. Prior to that, John was President of GE’s Gasification business, based in Houston, TX.
Prior to his November 2016 appointment to GE Renewable Energy, John served as the Vice President of Digital Energy of GE Energy since August 15, 2012 and as Chief Executive Officer of Digital Energy Business of GE Energy Management Inc. until November 6, 2015.
John currently serves on the GE/Prolec Board and the Board of Trustees for St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. He previously served on the Union Graduate College board in Schenectady, NY, the GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy Board of Directors as well as the Schenectady Chamber of Commerce.
John is a native of Holyoke, Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. John, his wife, Lisa, have four children.
President & CEO, Hydro, GE Renewable Energy
Yves Rannou is president and chief executive officer for GE’s new Hydro business as of November 2015, and is based in Levallois, France. Yves is also a vice president and GE company officer.
Yves began working at Alstom in 1997, and throughout his 18-year career, has held a series of positions that have progressively strengthened his project management expertise. He has served as quality director, deputy general director of pump-turbine activities, head of project execution, project director for global structural projects, and managing director for China, all for Alstom’s Hydro business.
In 2014, Yves was appointed senior vice president of Alstom’s Wind business, based in Barcelona and in charge of all activities related to onshore and offshore wind, reporting to Renewable Power Sector President Jérôme Pécresse and became a member of the Renewable Power Sector Executive Committee. Since 2015, Yves also served as the senior vice president of Alstom’s Hydro business in addition to his SVP role in the Wind business.
Yves holds a Master of Science in mechanical and electrical engineering from UPMC in Paris and an engineering degree from the ESTP. During his career he also obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt, and a diploma from INSEAD-AMS.moving to GE Oil & Gas in 2009 where he led global operations for global services out of Florence, Italy, and was responsible for field service & repair execution, spare parts fulfillment and services segment profitability.
Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, GE Renewable Energy
Andrès Isaza is the Chief Commercial Officer for GE Renewable Energy, a world-leading provider of renewable power generation technology including Onshore wind, Offshore wind and Hydro technology and all related services.
Headquartered in Paris, France, the business serves customers in over 100 countries with a network of sales, service and manufacturing centers around the globe. GE Renewable Energy’s segment delivered 2015 revenues of $9 billion.
Andres joined GE from ABB Group, where he was most recently Group SVP heading up the global Power Grids and Electrification Products divisions Sales organizations comprising sales employees in 100+ countries and with responsibility for 65% of ABB’s revenues, based at the company headquarters in Zurich. Andres began his career with ABB in Italy in 1995 as a project manager for substation management. Since then he has held increasingly senior roles in sales working in Europe, the US, South America and Asia with responsibility for multi-billion dollar P&Ls.
Andres earned a master degree in electrical engineering from Genoa University in Genoa, Italy and has been a Lieutenant Officer Instructor at the Antiaircraft Academy in Italy.
